I'm thinking about cutting the championship down to 10 rounds. Obviously... to give myself a better chance of winning it before the young 'uns catch up, LOL, but seriously what do you think? Is 20 rounds too much? Looking at the leader-board there are only about six people in contention, and people with only a few points are losing interest and will continue to drop off until there's only five or six of us left on race-day. Don't worry, it won't be the end of the event. I'll kick off a new Gfred after the event is over if everyone is up for it - a fresh Championship 2 or something. Post your comments and let me know, or let's chat during the week. Cheers! Could maybe do small series of championships that lead to points for championship as a whole.. So..maybe do 5 weeks, top 10 get points, something like 10 points for first, 1 point for guy who got 10th, Then do another 5 weeks, Same scoring sequence. After, i dont know, 4 or 5 of those, points are added up for each set and you get an ultimate winner. Make sense?

So I'm already champion of season 1 then - yeah, that's Gfred done and dusted for 2017. Great by me! (sounds about as yawn-inducing as season 2 of the Walking Dead :0) No... let's just carry on with it the way it is. It's just a fun event on Wednesdays, and the points and championship thing is to add an extra competitive edge. Cheers guys.

Whatever you decide is fine with me Jenkiii. It's not like non contact Banther could ever beat me in this lol! We're going to carry on as normal for the time being... 20 rounds until September, with the winner on the night taking 25 points. The numbers are a bit thin as Wednesday nights aren't the best for everyone - work, evening classes, hobbies, etc... and more people will lose interest as they drop out of contention. But it's tight at the top there, Bukit, and a win or good finish tonight could see you taking the lead in the championship. Good luck and break a leg (all of you). See you for ROUND SIX tonight. And I would like to see Mac Daddy put his differences to one side and post a result. Heads down, no chuntering, and go for the podium and win.

I will bring the cheese you can bring the whine.

Even after telling me to fuck off, leaving the session and party, Mac Daddy, because you couldn't handle getting owned in freemode by the Buzzard King, and un-friending me on top of that... you're still welcome to take part in the Gfred Championship hosted by me... all of you are. The more the merrier, even those of you who are cunts. See you there.

If you can't take a little ribbing and don't want to have fun with this game you don't belong here.

Here are the results from last night's race, round 6: bdogs gaming destroys the fastest race-day lap with his winning time of: 20:49:912 Congratulations to bdogs, 2fast and Senor on getting the podium places. The OP has now been updated with the results... 25 points for the win, 18 for 2nd, 15 for third... right down to 1 point for 10th place, with everyone who took part getting an extra point just for turning up. There's a bit of a shuffle at the top of the leaderboard with three people in equal 2nd place, and the top 4 places all within a good result of each other. A bit of a gap's developed to 5th place now, and a further gap to 8th place - so are these people out of contention? I think that's up to them to decide, and it's still a tight battle for the top 10. Remember, if you take part and trundle home in a reasonable position you're going to do well in this type event. It's about consistency, not just raw speed. There's now a *sparkling*, brand new and ongoing MOST PODIUMS AWARD, currently tied at three podiums apiece between Bukit and Senor 4. See the OP. Thanks guys, and see you for round 7 next week.

Definitely the best race I've seen for 8th and 9th place. The Rusty Rebel vs the Zirconimum Stratum, that was awesome.

The Gfred Championship is up and running tonight as normal - Round 7 at 9:30 pm EST.
25 points up for grabs for the winner... down to 1 point for 10th place.
I'm currently leading the championship with 98 points, with Bukit, Copyright and Senor all sharing second place on 80 points. Just goes to show what you can achieve if you trundle home in an average 3rd place.
Bukit and Senor are leading the podiums Award, with 3 each. And bdogs gaming (shall I call you Malcolm, Nigel or Gwen??) currently holding the fastest race-day lap Award, with 20:49.912
If you can't make it because of Gunrunning commitments that's fully understandable, as you need to have an opinion on these things, plus there could be networking issues and disconnects.
Hope to see you there...
