I wanted to create this thread because I'm sure we all have TOYS at home that we take great pride in. Wether it be SnowsSleds, Motorcycles, Boats, 4 Wheelers, Go Carts, etc if you have them and want us to see your pride and joys then take a pic and throw em on this thread. My main reason for creating this is because I've recently made a boat purchase that I'm wicked stoked about. Since my wife and I got together 17 years ago I've put all my wants on hold to raise a family and have never indulged myself in wanting TOYS. Until Now!!!!!!

So. This is a 1996 Regal 182SE. It's pretty much in mint condition with low hours. It's got a inboard/ outboard Stern Mercruiser 185hp. I'm writing this sitting in it listening to Country Gold Saturday Night having a few frostys.

As a person who pays attention to the smallest details in my craft, i can appreciate the work you do and the skills it takes to do it. Im always learning more and more, but i love building or rebuilding things with a lot of skilled craft put into them, One day I will get into doing quality coating, as I have done some pretty cool projects, that would probably be out of this world if I had the equipment and space to put that level of detail into my work. I'd kill to work in a shop like yours. Nice job building your own!

Its tedious, repetitive, time consuming, but the end result is so gratifying

For sure! A patience is a must, something i always have a hard time dealing with. i get to anxious to see final results. Currently working on those rust spots on my Eclipse. Sanded it all down, put bondo in the really bad rust spot, smoothed over with a puddy. Turned out pretty nice so far, i think anyway. Went out and got an epoxy primer (shits expensive and i bought the cheep shit!!) and will be spraying that, hopefully today. Not sure when I'll get to the finish coat..

I would look out of place in one of those but worked on enough of them to confidently say, out of all the newer cars, they are put together pretty well. Most manufacturers are trying to get away with building cars as cheap as possible, being held together by more and more glue type materials rather than nuts and bolts. And when they do use nuts, bolts, rivets.... They are plastic! :/
