I clearly stated that the petty inconvenience of not having plates and the sale restrictions imposed on us by Rockstar are TOTALLY TOLERABLE in comparison to the amount of money we make out of duping. Who the hell is complaining here?

The $$ I've gained vs. the petty Rockstar restrictions are totally tolerable IMO. So many things I don't like about GTA online, but fuck Rockstar when it comes to money, seriously.I guess its the constant complaining about how shitty rockstar is that made me figure it was complaining. My bad.

Has anybody continued to sell their cars? - If so, how many per day or every 2 days? - Do they still sell for $900k or more? Has anybody sold all their cars and got their sell limit back? Has anybody gotten the ability to put custom plates back on back? Personally, i have one account that has no duplicated plates, meaning that all the duplicated cars I have, have different plates on them. Unfortunately this has not changed anything like i had hoped it would. My second account has many duplicated plate cars (the Barrio plate) and has gone from being able to sell 2 in 36 hours, to 1 every 36 hours, even though I never sold more than 1 every 2 days. Just trying to get some data on what other people have seen out there. The benefits of duping definitely outweigh the negatives of cheat detection, that's for sure. Not sure why, but I thought this was 2fast's post and I was trying to tell him not to worry, that duping is worth it. Sure, I'd rather have plates and be able to sell when I want, but it's a minor grievance in comparison to the money .

Well...if the right precautions are taken, the inconvenience of not having plates or even reaching a sell limit isn't even a thing. Skillz even tried to tell people to change their plates before selling them, but nobody listened. If they had, then they probably would still have that convenience as well.

Don't worry about it, Lifted. We all jumped in and new the risks involved, and I already had plate limitations on my second character, so no surprises there. We've been duping for years, and it's Rockstars way of making it more inconvenient so that we tell other people not to bother, which in turn, leads them closer... dare I say it.... to purchasing shark cards! F* that!

Somebody has to buy them...the day people stop buying shark cards is the day we stop seeing DLC's for GTA Online.

Not sure if this is helpful, just part of the puzzle and probably just affects me.
When I sell a duped 'Barrio' car or similar, I'm not allowed to sell any other car, not even a street car for a 30-hour period, and I always get the message 'You've reached your daily limit...' etc. This causes a global sale block on every type of car - dupe, personal, street - across both characters, and is the strictest level.
However, once that block has lifted, I can then sell a personalised car followed by a street car, followed by other cars, as normal. Try an experiment. Purchase two free Elegy RH8's and then try to sell them one after the other once your block has lifted, and see what happens? Try selling a personal car, street car, personal car... you should be OK.
The good news is, selling a 'Barrio'/dupe car doesn't force you into a 30-hour sale limit forever, just for that 30-hour period. At least that's what happens to me. Cheers.

Last night I realised that I've been holding on to about 15-20 dupes with 'Barrio' (dirty) plates for a rainy day, also in the hope that one day my personal license plates would come back and I'd be able to sell more cars per day. And then I realised that if I DO get my plates back and THEN sell a dirty dupe the whole thing will spiral downwards again. In addition to this, I've not had any reductions in sale price for any duped cars, so my advice is to SELL everything you've got or wipe over them with street/free cars as soon as possible, or you'll risk selling a dirty dupe in the future and never get your plates / sell limits back.
I'm not sure if that's logical to everyone, but there is no point holding on to dirty dupes for a rainy day because it will reset your 'clean' status all over again when you eventually sell one.

I’ve replaced all dupes with street cars then blown up the street cars to complete the process.

I’ve replaced all dupes with street cars then blown up the street cars to complete the process. I would have been inclined to sell them and get the cash considering you've already been detected and the plates are gone, but that's a wise decision just to get rid of them.

If your goal is to get custom plates and sell limit restrictions released, then you want your garages to be clean of any detected 'dirty' dupes. I don't think you will make progress until your garages are clean of them.
