Yeah... The guys at my shops always do rides for kids, they do for tots, St Judes R.S., We even parked a school bus down from the shop for people to fill for Haiti Relief. Just say the word brother.... I wouldn't hesitate for a minute! ππ»

Speechless.. seriously.. I'm fine guys. This isn't a cry for help, more of just a bit more about me. Your desired support has me overwhelmed. My families share of the medical expenses get put into a 1 large account and we make monthly payments. We all have bills to pay and this is no different. π

Just wanted to post a quick update on Brendan's status. The pics above are about 1 year apart and after being on Chemo for the same period. After a whole year they deemed the medication he's been taking a failure as the tumor has only shrunk about 1.5 cm and nothing over the last 6 months. Ugh. Huge gut check as now we face crazy ass decisions. He's currently playing football so we are holding off until he's done to plan what's next. So, he's been taking his chemo in pill form that is shipped in to us. Now we have to decide wether to put a port in him and make weekly trips to Boston and have injections done which will rock his world. He will have very serious side effects including loss of hair again, loss of weight, blood cell issues, no school, no sports, and no fucking life not to mention how life threatening this type of treatment is. Or, cut his damn leg off just above the knee and be done. Very tough decision to swallow. Brendan is so fucking strong and openly talks about pros and cons and just the other night asked me if he has his leg removed could he have a mechanical leg and not a prosthetic so he could work on a full recovery. I almost lost it as I'm explaining to him that I'll get him the best leg he could ever want. His will to overcome this is far greater that I could have ever imagined. Anyways, Sorry for rambling on. ππ

Yes I have a 16 year old boy and a 13 year old girl. Thinking about what your going through is difficult. I know what I would want my child to do in your situation. I really feel out of place speaking about this and apologize if I'am, but I feel strongly against the chemo.

I'm really sorry that you and your family are going through this, Grassy. I have a daughter and two boys aged 14 and 12, so I can try to appreciate the devastating impact this cancer nightmare is having on your life.
I think you already know the path you have to take. The degradation I see in the above 'before & after' photo is startling. If you carry on with chemo, injections and other medications, I dread to think what a third photo might look like in a year from now.
But if you still can't decide, here's a prayer. Dear Jesus Christ, please help Grassy and his family make a decision. They're weak right now and they don't know what to do. Please give them guidance and help them decide.
You decision will be the right one, Grassy, I am sure!

Have you heard of Rick Simpson Oil (RSO)? Seems crazy but if it actually worked, man what a better solution. Research it up a bit if you haven't already.

It seems above everything your son seems a tough son of a gun. I can't imagine contemplating those kind of options at such a young age, let alone having the courage to tackle them head on. I hope regardless of which path you choose, I hope you get the best outcome possible. My thoughts are with you an your family Grassy.

Thanks Fringe. We will know after the football season what path we will take. Seeing him run and one of the fastest on the team just makes it so hard to consider amputation.
