A little Night Shift history...
Not a lot of people know this, but the seeds of Night Shift Racing were planted long ago on the XBOX 360. Around the time the XBOX One was released, I had joined Cloud 9, which just happened to be at the time a good majority of Cloud9 staff had moved over to the next gen console. Over time, more and more people made the switch, and before you knew it, it was just my new friend Grassy and myself holding down the Cloud9 fort on the 360 side. There were many nights were it was just him and I (guess where Grassy got most of his wins!! ), if we got 8 people in a race lobby, it was a damn good night. We worked hard to recruit new people in public lobbies and try to keep a good group of friends together. Grassy has been hosting Grassy's Challenges since I have known him for damn near 2 1/2 years. Nobody is a better host than Grassy, Period!
Soooo...in the spirit of old times, and maybe we can even call this the delayed 1 year Anniversary of Night Shift Racing, I will be hosting a playlist that will contain only tracks that we would do when we were on the 360. This means no stunt races and silly colorful props. These tracks, as far as I know, never exceeded the 100 prop limit. Old school!!
In addition to running old school tracks, all vehicles being raced must be from the 360, no modern DLC cars. This means, original Shafters, Original Dominators, Zentornos, ect...you get the idea.
This also means this will be limited to 16 players, so to reserve your spot, sign up here!!
Here is a list of the tracks we will be running. Order could change. I will try to link the tracks if I get a chance.
1. Container Carousel - Sports
2. Battle of Sedans (remade for 16 players) - Sedans
3. Epsilon Circuit - Coupes
4. Hookah Palace Street Race - Supers
5. Thrills In The Hills (remade with 16 players) - Coupes
6. La monalisa - Sports
7. The Cinematographer - Sedans
8. South East Scurry - Muscle
9. Grimstone Circuit - Supers
10. Catalunya - Muscle
We could run this tomorrow night, otherwise it will have to be NEXT Wednesday.
