Welcome to the Pibwasser Stock Car Series!Do you enjoy short track oval racing or superspeedway drafting? The Pibwasser Stock Series may be your holy grail. This is a series designed for the NASCAR fans or oval racing fans of GTA. With the latest GTA update a new car was introduced; The Declasse Hotring Sabre. I saw the perfect opportunity to create a new series that would tag along side with the Night Shift Endurance Championship. The car is under a million and I feel very affordable if you do a few MC sell missions. The dedicated NASCAR fans and oval racing fans would not mind at all. I only wish it was a muscle car and not a sports. Before it becomes a thing I will make some playlists of tracks NIGHT SHIFT members may or may not have seen yet. Do a little testing with the Hotring and pick out good tracks and bad tracks. Hopefully plenty of people would want in this. Anywho my gamertag is JERS3Y98 so feel free to just call me Jersey. This series will follow the same guidelines as Night Shift Racing so go check out the guidelines on the forum. Racing Rules1. Have fun and send it 2. Declasse Hotring Sabre ONLY 3. No Rough Riding -Hard Racing is good, “Rubbin’ is Racin’” but driving like a douche is just being a douche 4. Catch-up Off 5. Slipstream for Super Speedways ONLY 6. Rolling Starts and Restarts (hopefully) -1st place car gets lane choice; top or bottom -Single file after 2 attempts 7. GTA Race so pitstops can really work and be a part of strategy 8. Stage Racing (hopefully) 9. Mandatory Pit Stops -Pit lane opens after 5 laps of the start of a stage -Pit lane closes with 2 laps left in stage -Do not make stop you will be penalized 5 points 10. Caution Flags -Cautions will fly when 3+ cars get tangled up -Competition Cautions (End of Stages) -Leader stops on the back straightaway following caution; cars get lined back up in running order and proceed to a rolling restart off turn 4 in a restart zone 11. Lapped cars move to top side of track as leaders are coming -Lead cars signal with honk 12. Free Pass/Lucky Dog -If a caution comes out any competitor a lap(s) down gets 1 lap back under the caution -This applies to the end of stages as well Stage Racing Rules- Stage racing will give every driver an opportunity to gain additional points during the race 1. Each race will be broken into 3 Stages 2. Stage Breakdown -Stage 1 & 2 will 25% of the laps a piece -Stage 3 will be the remaining 50% of the race EX: If the race is 100 laps Stage 1 & 2 will 25 laps a piece and Stage 3 will be 50 laps 3. Stage Points Breakdown -The winner of Stage 1 & 2 will receive 5 bonus points; totaling to 10 bonus points if a driver wins both stages -The second place finisher of each stage will receive 3 bonus points -The third place finisher of each stage will receive 2 bonus Points -The final stage has bonus points already implemented in the final points 4. The end of a stage is the same process as a if it was a caution Tuning Rules1. Stock Rims ONLY (for NASCAR look; may have one exception 2. Suspension must be the lowest one 3. All other modifications as you please This will be a challenge but I believe Night Shift members can do it Unique NASCAR Style Points SystemRace Finish 1. 35pts 2. 32pts 3. 30pts 4. 27pts 5. 26pts 6. Etc. Bonuses Points Stage Winner - 5pts P2 Stage Finish - 3pts P3 Stage Finish - 2pts Fastest Lap - 3pts Pole Award - 2pts This link is where points would be posted docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Y39nlCDrLDkHSjrCwdJwTGgV8I1vCfSaoWmR6JNNiVs/edit?usp=sharingAttachments:

I've wanted to organize a NASCAR event for a long time now, but with working 50+ hours a week and endless projects that need to get done around the house, I just can't give this sort of event the attention it would deserve. Anyway, after a lot of thought on how to organize it, this is the format I always had in mind.
Non-contact warm up/qualifying laps to determine starting position 10 minute heat - minimal points given 10 minute heat - minimal points given *total of points determined start position for the feature. Tied points will then be determined by heat race times (or something along these lines) 16 minute feature - Event points awarded.
By doing this method, you not only break up a 40 minute endurance of turning left, but you also give those who had misfortunes a chance to catch back up.
Im not saying to run it this way, just giving a suggestion. Would love to see this expanded on or fine tuned.

Nevermind, i just saw the updated edit to your post with these additions. So who is organizing all of this? I would love to see this happen, but also want it to happen in a well organized manner and do not want to see it die off before it ends, especially if the organizing isn't doing well (this happens all the time). So since this is in the event 'approval' thread, lets get some info to get a stamp of approval and get it in the planning stages (dates, tracks, ect) Who will be hosting and/or organizing? Does this person have experience in organizing any events or even hosting playlists? If not, please host a couple playlists with some 'rules' and lets see how well it goes. I know im being a pain in the ass, but we have an event approval thread in order to keep things high level

I'm getting a list of tracks together to test and vote on. I think there will be about 30 tracks on the list eligible for PSC Series. Narrowing it down to 15 or 20 is what I am looking for. JeckLM has a lot of tracks on my list cause there are simply a lot of his tracks that I like.

There was one more road course that I couldn't find. It was on the airport with a bunch of trees. Major Copyright just posted a video on youtube on it. These are just tracks that I have seen and I would think be good for this. If anyone has recommendations shoot. Trying to keep it to 15 to 20 races.

Hookies Hotring is my number one choice!! Best track EVER!
You should run through each of the tracks and make a preliminary decision in your own mind. If you've got doubts about a specific track, post and someone will look at it.

Im gonna go through them Yeah, I didn't mean to come across like 'can't be bothered, try them for yourself', just that you'll quickly know which ones are duffers and which ones are good, so round up the best 10-15 and make a playlist or something. BTW, the four tracks in the Endurance Championship are all good, plus you've got Skills new best track EVA!, so that's at least five.
